1. Men are dogs.

This is not true. Dogs are faithful and loyal animals. Your dog loves you more than you love him. You have your dog’s unconditional and unwavering affection. To say men are dogs is an insult to dogs everywhere.

2. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

“Out of sight, out of mind” is the truer cliché in today’s world. In some cases absence does make the heart grow fonder—fonder of others. We live in a harsh, competitive world full of people ready to dump you for someone or steal your significant other.

3. All’s fair in love and war.

Well, not really. I mean it’s fair in war, but not in love. You cannot hurt anyone to achieve or finally be with your love. Being selfish is not fair. It’s not fair to steal or backstab anyone for your happiness. Love is…
